Majorca Island Day 4

The entire western coast of Majorca is beautiful, and takes more than one day to explore it all.  This day we explored a little town called Fornalutx, and then headed to a very popular beach called La Calobra.  The only way to reach this beach is by driving on one of the windiest and heart-wrenching roads I've ever been on.  It was an absolutely stunning drive though, so it was worth it!  Again, the drive there was just as entertaining as seeing the beach!

I don't know what else to call these except streamers.  They were all throughout the town of Valldemossa, and here in Fornalutx as well.  They looked so pretty in the sunlight and the breeze.

The drive to La Calobra Beach... this road is your only way to get there!! :O

After the crazy drive and some uphill walking, the view of one of the beaches.

To get to the other beach (which was very small, but an adventure to get to), we had to walk through two parts of the mountain.  The tunnels were just tall enough for people to walk through, it was really fun!

About to enter the first tunnel.

The view from inside the tunnel!

A little walkway that gave a view of part of the second beach.

A couple of guys hanging out with their dog, past the "do not cross" sign.  :P

Back through the tunnel. :)

Illuminated with neon lights so you could see!

The second teeny, tiny beach.

Feel like jumping from the rocks?  Just climb up the stairs from the water!
