County Kerry Day 1

We spent a 4-day weekend in county Kerry, on the western part of Ireland.  Our first day there, we took a pony and trap through the Gap of Dunloe with our quirky guide, then we explored Inch Beach, the town of Dingle, and Dunquin Bay.  The pier I wanted to see at Dunquin Bay, we couldn't find, so sadly I have no pictures of that.  That seems to be the case with some things; even though they may be a popular spot to visit, making things easily signposted would just be tooooo easy.  ;)

Gap of Dunloe:

Seeing abandoned places like this always make me wonder who did live here before, and what their life was like.  So mysterious!

Lost boot?  Maybe they'll come back for it.

We knew the paint colors on the sheep had something to do with ownership.  Our guide told us that the sheep are all mixed together, so the color of the sheep tells who they belong to.

It was a bit foggy during the beginning of our tour through the Gap of Dunloe, but on our way back the sun popped through.

Lina got a free little horse ride after our tour.

These kids love their ice cream. :)

Inch Beach:

My favorite thing about this pic is the expression on Benicio's face!

Seeing moments like these makes my heart happy!

This is the restaurant we ate at in the town of Dingle.  LOVE bar food restaurants!
