County Down (UK, Northern Ireland)

We spent a short weekend in county Down and county Louth.  Weather has been amazing, so we're trying to take advantage of it before Ireland's typical cold and rainy days.  First stop was Tollymore Forest Park, one of the nicest forest parks we've been to.  Of course, the kids had a blast exploring, throwing rocks in the stream, crossing stepping stones, and climbing trees.

Someone has found their thumb! :O

Once in a while I make it into a picture.  :)

Dada was showing them how to skip stones.

This is why I usually don't want them to pose for a picture together, this is what I get lol.

A boy and his Monster Truck.  He takes these things everywhere with him.

Next stop: Dundrum Castle.

What's around this corner???

My cheeky little monkeys. ;)

Inch Abbey:

Final stop for the day: Ballynoe Stone Circle.  Super awesome tree tunnel leading up to an ancient stone circle.  Our favorite part was walking through the long tree tunnel, made up of what seemed like endless blackberry bushes!  Needless to say, we snacked our way through it!

Gorgeous red vines on the walls of many Ireland homes.

I cant pass up a cute farm cottage!
