Co. Kerry Day 4, and Co. Tipperary

One of the things about Ireland that I'm sure I've mentioned before is that no matter how much of a tourist attraction something may be, signage isn't always there.  That was the case with a couple of places we tried to see on this weekend.  On our last day, our plan was to visit Kells Sheep Center to watch their sheep dog demonstrations, but there was no signage to be found.  I had even called ahead of time and wrote down the lady's directions over the phone because she said we wouldn't be able to find it on Google Maps (go figure).  Unfortunately, we couldn't find it, so after a little more exploring in Kerry, we headed towards home and stopped in county Tipperary to see the Rock of Cashel and Hore Abbey.  It was a great weekend with pretty amazing weather!

Can't stop this girl.

She's got her T-Rex on guard!

Little artist loves to bring along her notebooks and draw the things she sees.

County Kerry, Day 3

Day three in Kerry was a busy one!  We hiked to the top of Torc Waterfall, drove through part of the Ring of Kerry (scenic), ate dinner in the lovely and charming town of Kenmare, checked out McCarthy's Castle in the town of Ballinskelligs where we spent the night, and finally a hair-raising drive to check out Bolus Head (scenic) near Ballinskelligs.

Taking time to smell the roses.

Beautiful forest at Torc Waterfall.

Love these colorful towns!

The Wander Inn Bar... excellent food!

Always interesting finds on our explorations!

Lina discovered this little critter and fed him a rasberry.  :)

Driving out to Bolus Head.

We actually met another car on this road.  It was not fun.

We're rebels.  We did not "turn back now".  :P

The owner of the B&B we stayed at suggested this little spot for dinner.  The food was great!
