The Leon's in Paris! Day 2

Our second day in Paris, we woke up early to catch the train to the Catacombs of Paris.  We heard that even if you arrive at opening time, the wait can be two or more hours to get in.  We arrived at 9:30, half hour before opening, and still ended up waiting an hour and a half!  Luckily the kids did great waiting, and finally we were able to enter.  After walking down countless steps, we finally made it deep underground into the caverns and tunnels that hold the remains of about six million people, the remains of stone mines.  The kids thought it was a great adventure, and for the rest of the trip, every sewer drain cover Isandro saw, he'd say, "Bones in there?"

The beginning of our walk underground.  Isandro would say, "Dark and pooookey!"

There's Isandro asking Lina if there are bones in there.  haha

Next stop was Notre Dame Cathedral.

Beautiful ceilings and stained glass windows.

Our last stop of the day was Love Lock Bridge.  We couldn't go to Paris and not take the chance to lock up our love forever!  The kids were in awe of all the locks, and they loved throwing their key into the river below!

We wrote all our names on the lock.  Lina wrote her own.
