Fermanagh Lakelands

We took a day trip out to county Fermanagh (UK part of Ireland up north) and rented a little boat that we could jump from island to island within the lake (which was HUGE.  If we were here through another summer, I'd love to rent a bigger house boat and stay on the lake for a week or more!)  We just rented it for four hours and hopped over to a couple of the lakes islands.  One island had a neat old church ruin with interesting stone figures inside where we ate lunch.  The other island had beautiful walking trails and a castle!  I think the kids' favorite part was helping Manuel drive the boat!

Rare to see this kid without a Monster Truck in hand.

SUCH a helper!  There was one point where Isandro was just driving in a complete circle.  He had us all laughing.

Lunch at the ruins.

Helping dada drive the boat.

Lina calling out, "Ahoy, matey!"

It was a bit overcast, so it was nice when the sun did decide to make an appearance!

You don't need to tell us twice!

Such a beautiful day!

Really neat fence at the castle.

Hammin' it up for mama.

Benicio fell asleep every time we were in the boat.

Isandro was tired so he just sat back to rest his eyes.
