A Greek Vacation - Fira, Santorini

We headed towards the town of Fira to do a little hike down some 550 or so steps.  You can also hike up the steps, but we opted for the cable car ride back up.  :)  Then that afternoon, Lina and I went on a mommy-daughter date around Oia near where we stayed.  We enjoyed exploring more little pathways, some souvenir shopping, a yummy snack, and a few nibbles from some fishies. ;)

Lots of mules to ride if you don't feel like doing the walk.

I'm curious where those blue doors lead to!

Our friends were in Greece just before us, and recommended this place for the gyros.  They were delicious!
Some pictures from my phone:

Isandro wanted to take some pictures with the selfie stick.  He did pretty good!

Benício fell asleep during the hike, and slept through lunch AND dessert!

The gelato shop our friends recommended. Yum!!!

Lina had been wanting to go out just the two of us, so we went on a mama-daughter date in Oia.

Uh-oh, not even 5 minutes in and we've found ourselves at a souvenir shop!

This is at some old ruins where we would later watch the famous Oia sunset that everyone gathers to see.

Windmill hotel.  You can actually stay there!

Taking in the views.

So fun spending some time with my girl.

We went back to check out the little bookshop.

Cafe time!

I'd heard a lot about the Greek yogurt with honey, and it was amaaazing!  With walnuts, yum!
