Family Vacation to La Gran Canaria

Feb. 20-27, 2013.  We spent a week in the island of Gran Canaria, part of the Grand Canary Islands off the west coast of Africa.  Escaping the cold, wind, and rain of Ireland was really wonderful!  Most of our days were spent at different beaches, and we also ventured to a beautiful zoo called Los Palmitos Park.  I think it was one of the nicest zoos I've ever seen!  Kids loved it, the scenery was gorgeous, and it was so clean!  Not to mention, great weather to top it off.  I'd say it was in the mid-sixties all week, which was perfect.
