She's all dressed and ready to go!!
A little chilly, good thing mama had a green scarf for her to wear. ;)
The beginning of the parade. It went all the way down
the street to the school, police escort and all.
"Happy St. Patrick's Day, horray!"
For actual St. Patrick's Day, I really wanted to go to Dublin and watch the big city parade that people travel from around the world to see, but Manuel was in California visiting his mom, and with me being pregnant, I didn't want to deal with the stress of driving into the city center, parking, and most of all, trying to get a good spot for the parade, all while trying not to lose one of my children in the process. So we went a few miles away to the town of Clane, and they had their 10th parade there in the town. Easy parking, and it was enough for the kids to be quite honest. I think Isandro enjoyed it the most! ....
Lina covering her ears from the loudness of the
tractors and trucks, and Isandro screaching and
pointing in excitement! HAHA
This boy loves tractors.
Below: St. Stephen's Green, Dublin. The day before St. Patrick's Day, we did go into Dublin for a kids' music activity that was at The Little Museum of Dublin, in the city center. There is a beautiful park and walking area right in the middle of the city center, that once you enter, it's hard to believe you are in the city.
Lina feeding the birds.
Having our lunch in the middle of St. Stephen's Green.
Lina had fun taking some pictures too. :)
Isandro saying hi to the birds while
Lina takes some pics.
There were several activities going on
that holiday weekend, and we caught the end
of a play going on in the middle of the street.
