Day 2 was amazing! Cold and rainy, but amazing nonetheless! We took about a 30 minute walk to reach Neuschwanstein Castle, in the south of Germany. After the castle tour, we checked out the nearby Mary's Bridge, and trecked back in the pouring rain. Despite the weather, it was a really great day!
Our drive towards the castle...
Can you see the castle in the distance?
Our walk to the castle was actually quite nice. It was lightly drizzling and chilly, but felt nice.
Waiting for our castle tour. Foggy, but a great view!
Done with the tour, now walking about 15 minutes to Mary's Bridge. Cold and rainy!
View of the castle from the bridge!

After our amazing castle tour, we drove towards Blaubeuren, Germany, where we stayed the night. After getting to our hotel (pictured: Ochsen Hotel), I went out for a walk by myself and explored a bit of the town.
Blautopf "lake". This was actually on the next day's agenda, but I didn't realize it was actually walking distance from where we were staying, and I stumbled upon it while out on my walk! Much smaller than I imagined, but still pretty!
Our friends Aleyda and Ryan are teachers at a school in Ulm, Germany, which is about 30 minutes from where we were staying, so they came over and met up with us for dinner!
Little bubba fell asleep.
Thank goodness for being able to wear Benicio on my back!
He was excited. :)
