Transitioning to a new country always takes some getting used to. I never look forward to the jetlag... it really takes a toll on your body, mind, and it seems your sanity! We were in a temporary apartment in Netanya for almost two weeks before moving into our house that Manuel picked for us during his house hunting trip in early November. After living in Israel for a week, Lina started school at Walworth Barbour American International School in Even Yehuda, which is north of Tel Aviv if you want to find it on a map. We also received our shipment fairly soon after moving to Israel, which was nice. In Ireland, we shipped so much of our belongings that we had to do a sea shipment, which took over two months! We decided this time around to be more selective about what we shipped, so we were able to do an air shipment and we received it in less than 2 weeks. There have been a few cold days, but overall the weather here has been amazing, not too warm and not too cold. Here are some pictures from the first couple of weeks in Israel, hope you enjoy. :)
At the temporary apartment... no shipment yet, so you have to get really creative in entertaining yourself
