Benicio is 11 months!
Eleven months has arrived! Only one more month and then I won't be bothering you with my monthly updates anymore. ;) I have increased my teeth count to SEVEN, and more are on their way! I have just started clapping and standing on my own! Not long now and I might start taking a few steps! I love my brother and sister so much, they are always playing with me and making me laugh. When my mama holds me and is eating something, I like to peer my head towards her and stare at her, giving her a sly grin. I also love to push chairs across the kitchen floor and give slobbery, open-mouth kisses. I have moved from Ireland to Arizona, and I'm enjoying lots of play time outside, bubbles, and next to no clothes on a daily basis. Peace, love, and sunshine... Benicio
Lina's First Bilingual School Project
Lina started Kindergarten less than a week after returning from Ireland. She is attending a dual language program at Kyrene de los Ninos in Tempe, where she is taught in both Spanish and English. She has struggled a bit, as we haven't been diligent about speaking Spanish with her at home, but her excitement and perseverance amaze me. Here she is with her first bilingual school project, about tourist sites in Cuba. So proud of her!
Hungry Guy
Benicio loves his food, and going the Baby Led Weaning route was the best decision ever! He loves feeding himself, and it's fun seeing what foods he likes/chooses and doesn't like. He still loves his milk more than anything, but is having lots of fun with "people" food. ;)
Discovery Park and Backyard Bubble Fun
We've been loving the sunny AZ weather this April, and we must take advantage of it before it gets TOO hot!
Focused on sand dumping at Discovery Park!
About to feed the duckies!
He's loving this weather and feeling the breeze through his wispy hair!
Having fun in the backyard!
Isandro is getting really good at blowing bubbles.
Lina's turn, and Isandro does NOT like it!
Benicio got SO excited when Lina blew bubbles for him!
More, sister! MORE!!! :)
Easter in Sunny AZ
We spent the first half of the day at my dad's house in Laveen, where the kids had fun hunting for eggs in the huge backyard, followed by another egg hunt at the Espinosa residence. So happy to be back in sunny and warm Arizona for Easter!
Lina had a blast throwing dog toys to my dad's dogs.
Can't remember why Benicio was in tears... he's a sensitive lil' guy...
Playing with grandpa Randy.
No bathing suit? No problem (good thing I brought extra changes of clothes)!
Easter at the Espinosas...
Group pic of the kids before the chaos!
Aaaaand they're off!
Vanesa: "You guys stop! Let the little ones go first!" lololol
"What'd she say? Oh well!"
BESTIES
Can't remember why we were laughing, but I love these ladies!
Isandro is trying to put his arm around Donny but I think Donny's over it. :P
Love these kiddos!
