Block Concentration

Benicio just went to town building with his wooden blocks.  He would get the blocks so high, and then would get very upset when they crumbled.  But he kept at it and continued building!

Treasure Hunt

No, we're not at the dump. Just taking our plastic and cardboard to the recycling "cages" located throughout the town. It's kind of a hassle, and the laundry room often becomes overflowed with recyclables, but when we do get around to taking it all, the kids have fun separating everything. Usually Isandro's more helpful. 

Aaargh, matey, I found me gold! Thanks to pirate Lina bringing her coin purse to the playground, we had a great time hunting for "treasure".

Lazy Saturday

It's a wear-your-chonies, no-plan-to-get-dressed, horse-around-on-the-couch kind of Saturday.  Sometimes, the best kind. :)

He loves to pretend he is snoring.

Beach Sunset

So the sun sets around 7:30/8:00 in the evening, and the kids are usually in bed by 7:00.  But hey, that's what summertime is for - staying up past your bedtime and enjoying the beach with your friends and a beautiful sunset.

This guy was non-stop rolling around in the waves like a pig in mud!
